Happy Father's Day

Dear Pat,
Charlie and I love you so very much.  Even when you are not feeling your best, you still make a fabulous daddy!  We think you are the best there is! 

Charlie clearly loves you from your head to your toes! 

And a big hug and a kiss to Grandpa and Papa for being fabulous fathers and grandfathers.  We love you too!

Zoo Play Date

Thursday morning we met my friend Michal and her two boys at the zoo.  It was a gorgeous zoo day!

Shafer fell asleep towards the end of our zoo trip and somehow Charlie didn't nap the entire day.

We are glad to have Paul in town for Pat's second to last treatment!

Paul took us out to a delicious sushi dinner last night.

The Hose

Charlie's absolute favorite thing to play with these days is the hose.  He prefers it to have water coming out, but enjoys playing with it dry too.  He will fight me kicking and screaming if I bring him inside when he is hanging with the hose.  He first noticed the hose when we used it to fill up a swimming pool a couple weeks ago, and then discovered the hose at my parent's house too.  Now he points them out at random houses when we walk the neighborhood. 

He knows it is used to water the flowers (he is so smart)  ;-)
