Maura and Mike had a great band at their wedding, the Red Hot Pokers. I had a BLAST dancing. Gosh, weddings are so much fun.

This is my first video post! Check out the married couple during their first dance:

Wedding Ceremony Highlights

Pat during one of his readings.I have never been so close at a wedding ceremony - I feel very lucky to have witnessed Maura and Mike say their vows and see all their expressions and hear every word.
And unfortunately my camera battery died. I was able to charge it during cocktail hour, so don't worry I do have some reception photos. :o)

Wedding Day Highlights

Maura looked so beautiful and I LOVED her hair and flowers.
Jennifer and Robert (Mike's Sister and Brother in Law)

The day before was incredibly windy and the day after was rainy...talk about lucky!

Joe's Pub

After the rehearsal dinner we went for drinks at Joe's Pub (just down the street from my In Laws). There was quite the turnout there! Lots of people were getting into town and were ready to celebrate (bar tab proof, ha ha). Such a fun start to weekend!!

Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal dinner on Friday night was very nice - we ate at Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet. Me, Catherine, and Maura

Mike and his sweet mom Jackie

I had some yummy mussels to start then short ribs over risotto...and a cappuccino. It is a special restaurant for Maura - she spent her 30th birthday there with close girlfriends. Nice to be back for another happy occasion!

Parents at the Cape

My parents are enjoying their first visit to Cape Cod. My In Laws and Maura & Mike kindly invited them to their wedding. It was SO good to see my parents ~ I miss them so much. It had been over 3 months since I'd last seen them. Here are a few pictures we took in Chatham.

Mom and Dad fly home on Thursday, so I hope they have a nice rest of their trip. We had to drive home to New Jersey today (work tomorrow...)

Here is a shot of the beautiful bride.

You Da Man!

Happy Birthday Uncle Robert!! UR is hilarious! Love ya man!

If you want to spot the birthday boy, you can probably find him cruising around Nashville in his red Prius (heading to Spanish class) or making a killer fruit salad.

It has come to my attention that I do not have nearly enough pictures of my wonderful uncle. But here he is at The Melting Pot with Rachie, Aunt Carole, and Matthew.

Wine & Cheese Night

Last night my friend Dia hosted a very fun wine and cheese party at her place in Hoboken. We had lots of yummy cheeses - and I was determined to remember the name of this one kind (starts with a J, any ideas?). I took a peppered goat cheese with crackers and some pepperoni slices. There was also a couple cheese fondues and one chocolate fondue! My favorite was the granny smith apples dipped in the cheese fondue. Delish! Such a fun night.

After the party we took the limo to Willie McBride's. (If you take the free limo to the bar, you get in for free! I think there is normally a $10 or so cover. This makes no sense to me but I love it!) Dia works with these IU grads ~ Grace & Carly. They were in the sorority next to mine. How fun and nice to meet them.
