Charlie...

Did I make you go a whole week without new pictures of Charlie?  My apologies.

 I couldn't help but pick up this little play mat for Charlie while shopping at TJMaxx recently.

Recent Happenings

A lot has been going on, including Pat at Vandy orientation starting today.  Some other things:

1. Beer Butt Chicken.  Tom and Shelly came over for our first meal in our new house.  Delish!

2. Receiving apple fritters from our 87 year old neighbor, Ruth.  So sweet! 

3. Sewing a button on my shirt dress. Trying to find the perfect one to match.

4. Enjoying flowers from my parent's garden.

5. Buying a new TV...

6. And TV stand. We've been streaming Netflix until Direct TV comes on the 19th.

ExerSaucer

Charlie has been having a ball in his ExerSaucer.  The box said it was for babies 4 months to walking, but we didn't want to put it all together in New Jersey just to take it apart for the move.  So once we made it to our new house we put it together.  There are so many little toys attached to it and it definitely keeps CQ entertained for a while.  He tries to stetch every little part of it into his mouth. 

This has been a fabulous gift - thank you Aunt Barbara, Emily, and Sarah!

It's Hot

First Look at the House

We first viewed our house back in May when we made an offer on it.  We closed on it mid-June from up in New Jersey.  Once we finally saw it again last week it had been over two months since we had seen it.  Thankfully we had painters and an electrician in during that time and we were so excited to see the progress.  We love how the paint and light fixtures turned out.
I'm glad I took a few pictures before all our boxes and furniture showed up and thus made our place a mess (slowly getting better).

That's pretty much our little home.  I forgot to take pictures of the guest bedroom which we'll be calling our study.  It also houses a desk and book shelf and Pat's closet.

Charlie - 5 months old

A little late because of our move, but as of July 24th, Charlie is 5 months old!

 He doesn't go to the doctor again until he's 6 months, so I don't have new stats for you.  But CQ is rolling over all the time now and he definitely prefers to sleep on his tummy now (he rolls over when we put him down on his back).  He occasionally gulps down 9 ounces of formula in one feeding. 

Sleeping in his pack n play at his grandparents. :o)
