Cookie Party

My book club had it's Third Annual Cookie Decorating Party yesterday. (second annual pictures here)  Needless to say, this is my favorite book club gathering of the year! Devon and Elizabeth made up all the sugar cookies in advance and Devon had tons of frosting and little sprinkles, really everything you could possibly need.  I know I am "eating for two" but I had my fair share of cookies and then easily doubled that...oh well, on to the pictures!

Do you see that gingerbread man on the top right?  Isn't it a shame when your cookie breaks and you have to eat it??

Cookie Party

Devon and her sister-in-law Elizabeth hosted our Book Club's 2nd Annual Cookie Decorating party yesterday.  While none of us really liked our latest book, Willing Spirits, we obviously had so much fun with the company and cookies!

Ginny in front of the spread.  Devon worked at Dairy Queen decorating cakes for 7 years, so as you can imagine she is very good at this.  She had everything and more set out for us to use.

I am hosting book club next month and we voted for The Help by Kathryn Stockett.  I've heard great things about the book so I can't wait to get started on it.
