1 more week of the Garden State

A week from today Charlie and I will be taking his first plane ride, EWR to BNA.  Pat will be driving down that same day (July 20th).  Nashville, here we come!  The movers come the day before.  We've been boxing up books and picture frames and scrapbooks, etc.  We are trying to get rid of a lot of stuff too.  I posted a big box of DVDs on Craigslist...and a couple seasons of The Sopranos on Half.com.  Fingers crossed...but lots of stuff will be headed to Goodwill too. 

We've started to say our goodbyes. How did people survive in the old days when saying goodbye might have meant forever?!  With email and facebook to keep in touch, it doesn't seem quite so bad.  And we have lots of reasons to come back to the NYC area for frequent visits.  :o)

Charlie and I went to Hoboken yesterday to see my friend Simone. She had the day off work and wanted to meet Charlie and hang out. She made some amazing fish tacos for lunch!

Oh, looky here: Charlie has been grabbing his feet lately.  He hadn't really noticed them until recently.

Simone and her husband live on the 12th floor and have an amazing view of the city.  I definitely wanted some photos out on the balcony.
