Firsts


It's so easy to have "firsts" when you're only 7 or 8 days old. Yesterday Charlie became quite the traveler as we drove into New York, his second state visited...and at only 1 week old! He also tested out his musical bouncer for the first time.



I love the "quiet alert" state when his eyes are wide open and he's just taking everything in. 
Charlie started taking his vitamins yesterday.  It's just a little droplet that gets put in his bottle or directly into his mouth.  We are breastfeeding, but he does have the occasional bottle of expressed milk or formula.
I wonder what other firsts we'll have today!?  Hope you have a great day and thanks for checking in on us.

    At first I thought the dinosaur blanket on Pat's shoulder was the shirt he was wearing. Like father and son matching tees? No? haha
