Charlie had his first dose of "tummy time" yesterday. I had heard babies often dislike this, but Charlie didn't seem to mind it at all. He even moved his head from one side to the other.
Yesterday was also a big day because his umbilical stump fell off.
The little guy is one week old today. We took a nice long drive in the car to get out of the house for a bit and so I could try out inserting and removing him in the car seat (previous times that had been a Pat job).
