Easter Weekend at the Cape

What a wonderful weekend.  Sorry for the lack of posts, but we made the 4 1/2 hour trip up to Cape Cod on Thursday night and stayed until this morning.  Not only was the weekend beautiful, it was just so very nice and relaxing.  We ate chowder, walked a lot, ate seafood pie, watched basketball, drank wine, worked on puzzles, enjoyed Kate's Chinese cooking, explored beaches, read, and had our Easter meal at the lovely Captain Linnell House.
A foggy beach in Chatham.
Good Friday was actually quite chilly so I was still all bundled up. :)
Next we ventured to an Audobon walk.
Spotted: Frog!
This is Nauset Beach - we went for a long walk there on Saturday.
Easter morning sporting our new ears. :-P
Thank you Easter Bunny (aka Harvey for Pat)
Lots of goodies in there, including dark chocolate eggs, and spicy jelly beans...
Serious erosion:
Anybody up for a boat ride?
There is Kate, Paul and Pat out on the sandbar.
Thank you so, so much Paul and Kate.

I hope everyone reading this had a great weekend and enjoyed the weather too.
xoxo
