Greer's Baptism

Greer had a special day on Saturday.  And of course we all benefited.  Maura's Godmother, Aunt Anne surprised her by coming in for the occasion from Massachusetts.
We all met up at Maura and Mike's place and then walked a few blocks to the Holy Trinity Church  (not to be confused with our holy trinity marinade of soy sauce, teriyaki, and olive oil).  It was a beautiful church and we had it all to ourselves.

Mike's sister Jenn is the Godmother and Patrick is the Godfather.
Greer was so good the whole time.

Here we are leaving the church and then heading back to their apartment for champagne and drinks and snacks.  Champagne!

Greer then changed out of Paul's mother's christening gown (over 90 years old)

My goodness, the dress and headband combo is too cute.
Then we strolled along Central Park West to Central Park South to have dinner at the New York Athletic Club.  We had a great meal and then leisurely made our way to Lincoln Center for a few pictures.

Thank you Maura and Mike for including us in the special day and treating us all to a wonderful meal.  Maura and Greer even came out to Oradell to hang out with us before we headed to the airport Sunday afternoon.

I sure love my sweet niece.  That concludes our trip.  The 5 days (Wed-Sun) sure flew by!
