We celebrated my friend Devon's bachelorette party on Saturday night. Andrea met Devon 2 or so years ago in a Hoboken running club and we became friends when she joined our book club (and yes, she reads all the books!). She's such a sweet gal. Devon and Andy are getting married Memorial Day weekend in Ohio. 
Our first stop of the evening was The Peninsula Hotel's rooftop bar, Salon de Ning. It was so nice - we got to meet Devon's friend Allison who'd flown in from Chicago for the weekend. It was a great spot for people watching too!
Here's Elizabeth, Devon's sister in law (also in our book club), and Sarah and Andrea (who arrived back from her Russia trip the night before!)

Then we hopped in cabs to go down to the west village.
There we had our own private room where we took our shoes off. 
We had plenty of plum wine and some sushi and homemade tofu (the restaurant is known for it and makes it fresh several times a night)
We then walked over to grab cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery.
We found a bar for another drink but we were all pretty tired by that point. Devon's fiance gets an award for picking us up!
And so does Pat, he picked me up in Hoboken! xoxo
Such a great girls night. I am really looking forward to the wedding later this month! Yay for Devon and Andy!
PS I'll tell you more about my new job soon. It's going really well.
