Turkey Fry

We did it!  The turkey fry party was a BLAST.  So many friends braved the first snow of the season to trek out to our house yesterday afternoon and evening (via train, bus, or car).  Pat managed to safely fry 3 turkeys in the snow.

The attendees: Liz, Mark, Liam, Maura, Devon, Andy, Andrea, Sarah, Rachel, Laurisa, Rob P., Lacie, Neil, Ginny, Will, Ian, Kathy, Rob B., Jon, Nicole, Sean, Mary Clare, Gina, Scott, Stephanie, Jay, Jeremy, Kacey, Evan, Elysa, Warren, Alyssa. (including us, 34 total!!) No wonder all the mashed potatoes, gravy, corn pudding, and dressing went fast.

Jeremy taking care of the fire.  We sat around it laughing until about 4 am!  I haven't stayed up that late in a very, very long time.

It was a day of firsts - I made my first ever dressing, Warren carved his first turkey, and lots of people tried fried turkey for the first time.  Let's see, we also played Catchphrase and Sink the Biz.  What a great weekend!
We hope to make Thanksmas an annual tradition.  Join us next year. :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for coming!!
