Apple pie has never been one of my favorite desserts. I'd normally opt for something chocolatey or something creamy like crème brûlée. I might have been converted last night...
My In Laws Paul and Kate arrived in New Jersey yesterday with two gorgeous apple pies in tow. They had stopped off to visit with Kate's brother, Uncle Ned, on their trip down from Cape Cod. He made these pies.
Of course we had to go ahead and sample. Heated up in the microwave with some vanilla ice cream - Can't be beat!
YUM! Nice work Uncle Ned!
